Recently, GeekVape released a new pod vape kit - Geek Vape Wenax K1 SE, which is the iterative product of the Geekvape Wenax K1 16W Pod Kit. However, the Geekvape Wenax K1 16W Pod and the Geek Vape Wenax K1 SE Pod have many aspects in common including the same battery capacity of 600mAh, same max 16W output, same 2ml Wenax K1 Pod, same pen-style design, and same Type-C charging port, the only distinct difference between the two is that the Geekvape Wenax K1 16W Pod features inhale activation and fire button activation, while the Geek Vape Wenax K1 SE Pod only supports an inhale activation. Let’s see if there is anything new and interesting on the Geek Vape Wenax K1 SE Pod.

There are 8 colours to choose from in the Geek Vape Wenax K1 SE Pod Kit, including gradient colours are Gold Black, grey Black, Pink Green, Sky Marine, and Pacific Blue; single colour Black, Gunmetal, and Red. And this one in my hand is grey Black, as you can see from the picture, the upper part is matte grey and the following part is gradient grey black - the black is not evident though. There is a breathing LED light and the mark “wenax” on the front side of the device, and the “GEEK VAPE” logo is palely printed on the back of the device, you can only see it clearly at a certain angle.

As I mentioned above, the Geek Vape Wenax K1 SE is a buttonless-designed pod vape, and it is a super lightweight device which only weighs 32g. Geek Vape Wenax K1 SE Pod Vape Kit can be divided into 2 parts - pod and device. The pod is transparent and can be filled with 2ml e-liquid, and a flat and ergonomic mouthpiece is mounted on the pod. The device features a smooth matte metal texture, offering a portable and comfortable grip. The air inlets are on the sides, and the Type-C charging port is on the bottom of the device.

The Geek Vape Wenax K1 SE is a super light Pod Vape that only weighs 32g, however, it is integrated with a 600mAh battery, capable of delivering a 9W-16W output. What’s more, a 0.8ohm coil is housed in the pod which is rather suitable for providing an authentic MTL vaping experience. The pod has a 2ml capacity and features a side filling port design which is easy for vapers to fill the pod with their favourite e-liquids, of course, a premium nic salt e-liquid or high PG e-liquid is highly recommended to use with this pod vape kit.

It is a buttonless designed pod vape which means there is no button or menu on the device, all you have to do is fill the pod with e-liquid, put the pod on the device, and then vape. Even a novice vaper can handle this vape kit real quick thanks to its inhale activation. And there are evident signs reminding you of the status of the device:

Red light flashes three times: pod unconnected;

Green light flashes once: pod connected;

Green light keeps flashing: during vaping;

There are a few steps to fill the pod:

1. Pull out the atomizer;
2. Turn counterclockwise to remove the top cover;
3. Fill with e-liquid from the fill port;
4. Tear off the sticker at the bottom of the pod;
5. Place the top cover back into place and tighten;

As always, I filled the pod with 18mg nic salt e-liquid to see how the Geek Vape Wenax K1 SE pod vape performs. There is also a plastic seal on the bottom of the pod, so please make sure you have peeled it off before you use it. It takes roughly 3-5 minutes to prime the coil.

Well, the Geek Vape Wenax K1 SE pod vape brought me an impressive MTL vaping experience. First of all, the Geek Vape Wenax K1 SE parsed the flavour very well, you can clearly taste different flavour layers of the e-liquid; and it also offered a tight inhale sensation which is much similar to the inhale of a combustible cigarette; thirdly, you can clearly see the e-liquid remaining in the pod which largely prevents dry hits and coil burnt. Lastly, it produced considerable clouds as you exhaled the vapour.

There are some evident pros and cons of the Geek Vape Wenax K1 SE pod vape kit that I want to express, and some points are subjective.

Super lightweight, only 32g;

Compact as a pen, easy to carry and use;

Simple operation, inhale to vape;

Transparent pod, easily know the remaining e-liquid;

Very authentic MTL vaping as if you are smoking a cigarette;

Charging cable not included;

If you are a heavy smoker and want to make a switch to vaping, you must give the Geek Vape Wenax K1 SE pod vape kit a shot because it mimics the inhale sensation of smoking a cigarette very well, no matter from the tight inhale or smooth throat hit. Last but not least, a nic salt e-liquid is highly recommended to use with this pod vape kit.
