The Geekvape Aegis Pod System is the latest AIO vape device from the leading manufacture Geekvape, which was released in late March 2020. It is the third pod-based vape after the popular Aegis Boost, using the highly appraised Aegis lineage in design. I have always loved the ruggedness and appearance of the Aegis series as they are well built and can handle everyday life being water-resistant, drop-proof and dust-proof.

The Aegis Pod System is an IP67 rated pod vape that maintains the similar design aesthetics to its predecessors. It is a simpler and more compact version of the Geekvape Boost. The Aegis Pod System is powered by a built-in 800mAh battery and features the constant power output of 18W. It has a 3.5ml large juice capacity and comes with two 0.6ohm G.Pod KA1 mesh-tech coils for MTL vape. The pods are refillable and the coils are replaceable, so there are fewer costs for you.

The Geekvape Aegis Pod System is a much simpler version but still keeping the design aesthetics and the ruggedness of the original Aegis. It stands only 88.1mm tall and weighs 73g, which is compact and lightweight enough to take anywhere and slip into your pocket. The exterior is made of sturdy zinc alloy combined with high-quality leather and silicone coating for a comfortable grip. It feels just as tough and durable as other Aegis devices.

The Aegis Pod Kit is well built and feels great in hand with its ergonomic design and rubberized finish. It is shockproof and IP67 rated for water and dust-resistance. I have dropped it a couple of times without any side effects. It still works perfectly. The build quality is top-notch but not surprising. If you have never used a device from the Aegis line, you will be impressed.

The drip tip is wide and rounded, which is comfortable between lips. The 4 airflow holes are fully open on the side of the cartridge, which is designed for MTL vape. The bottom filling port with silicone plug is generous for easy refills. The coils feature a plug and play installation method. The cartridge is dark-tinted but clear. You can easily view the juice level. The fire button in the middle of the device is clicky. There is an LED light on the button to show the battery level. The Type-C charging port sits at the base of the device. The machining looks nice and the metal frame feels premium.

The Geekvape Aegis Pod System is a typical AIO device, which is similar to the Caliburn and Novo. Powered by 800mAh internal battery, it has a constant 18W wattage output and looser airflow on the pod. It is a button-activated pod device, and five clicks of the fire button within 2s will turn on or turn off the device. Press and hold the fire button to vape. The LED indicator will light and show the battery level while vaping. It also prompts the charging status and other indications.

There are multiple safety features to ensure your safe vaping and user experience. The device will stop output when the temperature is high. The button is disabled when the output time exceeds the 10s. The device will go into sleep mode after 10s of inactivity. You can press the fire button to activate the device.

The pod for Aegis Pod Kit holds 3.5ml e-liquid and is filling through a silicone plug at the bottom of the cartridge. You should remove the pod from the device to fill it. The pod sits tightly onto the device and is quite difficult to remove. I had struggles trying to get it out. The filling port is huge and round-shaped that can accommodate most of the bottle tips. The pod window is wide and clear, you can easily view the juice level.

The Aegis Pod Kit comes with two 0.6ohm G.Coil Mesh-tech coil heads, which are rated for 13 - 18W for MTL vape. The coil can be pushed into the pod from the bottom. It is quite a tight fit and a little bit difficult to remove. You can use the tool included in the kit to remove the coil. I don’t think I can remove it without the tool. The flavor was good and the coil lifespan was good as well. The vapor production is decent and flavorful but not dense as VINCI.

The Geekvape Aegis AIO Pod System is a more compact and simpler version of the Aegis Boost. It inherited the ruggedness and reliability of the Aegis line, which is shockproof, waterproof and dustproof. The classic combination of zinc alloy frame, silicone grip and leather backing makes it comfortable to hold and premium in hand. It integrates the 18W constant output and non-adjustable airflow to bring you the simplest vaping experience. The 800mAh battery capacity with an LED indicator is enough for an entire day vape with moderate use. It is a great choice to take anywhere, especially in a rough environment.
