The GeekVape Aegis X is a durable, solid and well-designed mod. If you have used an Aegis Legend before, the Aegis X will feel the same to you. The size is average for a dual-18650 box mod, same as the Aegis Legend But the Aegis X is slightly lighter than the Aegis Legend. The Aegis X is a perfect mod to hold and fits in your hand comfortably. The large 2.4 inch OLED screen is impressive that nearly covers the entire side of the GeekVape Aegis X.
Like the original GeekVape Aegis mods, the GeekVape Aegis X is mostly black and has a thick rubber coating. The battery door is the same with the Aegis Legend design, with a flip lid, and slide to lock catch. keeping with its predecessors, the Aegis X features IP67 waterproof and dustproof rating, thick rubbery finish and the squidgy leather on one end. The 510 pin makes it fit with any atomizer without overhang due to the bevel.
GeekVape Aegis X Output and Vaping Modes
The GeekVape is powered by dual 18650 batteries (sold separately) and capable of firing up to 200W. It is packed with features and vaping modes like most of Geekvape mods. You have Power mode with Soft, Normal and Powerful preheat options, variable wattage mode, temperature control (nickel, stainless steel, and titanium coils), TCR, and bypass mode, and Watt Curve mode (VPC). The temperature control ranges from 200 to 600 degrees Fahrenheit. GeekVape Aegis X has the most comprehensive features that most vapers need without being overbearing.

Like the average mods, the battery life of the GeekVape Aegis X depends on the following aspects.

- The wattage you are using
You will get an almost a full day vaping when using at 75W

You can charge the mod via the Micro USB port with a 2A charge rate. We don’t recommend you to charge your Aegis X internally. It’s always best to use an external charger. The USB charging port is next to the 510 connector and is protected by a rubber plug.

GeekVape Aegis X vs Aegis Mini vs Aegis Solo
1. Build Quality and Size
The Aegis X, Solo, and Mini all are well-built and beautifully designed by GeekVape. They feature the same general aesthetic and uses the same material in constructions. The most noticeable difference comes in the size of the mods. The GeekVape Aegis X is the largest one and comes to a heavier weight too. But it still fits comfortably in your hands with sleek edges. The Aegis Solo and Mini are much more slender and lighter in comparison because they sacrifice battery capacity for a smaller profile. They are much easier to fit into your pocket and carry on the go.
2. Features and Specifications
The GeekVape Aegis X features the highest battery capacity and power output. It can fire up to 200W with dual 18650 batteries. The Aegis Solo Mod and Mini Mod both house a single battery. The Solo is powered by a 18650 battery and the mini features a 2000mAh built-in cell. Sacrificing battery capacity means that the Solo and Mini are rated at much lower maximum power outputs - the Solo max. The output is 100W, the Mini max. output is 80W. The Aegis Mini uses a built-in battery which takes away some flexibility. The USB charging can be fairly slow. A dedicated charger for the standard 18650s runs much faster.
3. Battery Life and Vaping Performance
The battery life of the GeekVape Aegis X is pretty well in comparison. You can potentially use two days or more with a single charge if you vape less frequently. If you vape frequently, it can also last an entire day. The Aegis Solo has a decent amount of time for vaping. If you are vaping above 50W, you may need to carry a spare 18650 battery just in case. The Aegis Mini with a built-in battery leads to battery life issues sometimes. Many testers have found that the ratings for the battery come in much lower than 2000mAh, which can influence the performance and battery life.
The GeekVape Aegis X powered by the dual 18650 batteries offers enough power for an entire day vaping. It features the full functions and features of a box mod. The GeekVape Aegis X inherits the durability from the Aegis series and the chipset is improved for rapid response time and precise TC mode control. If you are a high wattage vaper, I recommend you to choose GeekVape Aegis X. It is affordable and provides flavorful taste and massive vapor production. Those at the lower end have to consider about what battery configuration they want. I highly recommend that you go with the GeekVape Aegis Solo rather than the Aegis Mini at that point.
