Build Quality and Design

The GeekVape Obelisk 120 FC Kit is a compact and powerful device. It stands approximately 128.5mm tall, 49mm wide and 27mm deep. It feels pretty solid in the hands but not too much weight to carry. The boxy rectangular shape fits the palm properly and comfortable to hold. On the front side of the device, there is the branding “Geek Vape”. Below the brand logo, there is a small type-c charging port. GeekVape Obelisk 120 FC Kit features a simplistic design with no stunning colourful panels. It is available in four colours options: blue, silver, black, gunmetal.

GeekVape Obelisk 120 FC Kit has an 0.96 inch TFT colour screen, which is crisp and bright even in bright sunlight. It clearly displays all the current vaping info you would like to know, such as the wattage, coil resistance, battery level, puff counter etc. There is a square-shaped fire button above the screen and two adjustment buttons below the screen. All buttons are responsive and have a nice click to them.

Overall, Geek Vape did a decent job on the design of the Obelisk 120 FC Kit. I’m quite impressed for its simple and classy looking. I like its solid hand feel and compact size.

One highlight of the GeekVape Obelisk 120 FC Kit is the world’s first vape with safe fast charging. According to its official, it takes only 25 minutes to fully charge a 3700mAh built-in battery, which can last 2 days use. The battery comes with an astonishing lifespan. You can get about 1 million puff at 60w. “The maximum charging temperature does not exceed 45.8 ° C, remaining a cool and safe charging. It’s a GV Lab test result. The practical charging temperature is related to ambient temperature. With the co-work of the upgraded chip and USB-PD Power Adapter, less heat will reach your Obelisk 120 FC. Besides, the USB-PD power adapter is adaptable and compatible with the approved USB-C devices. It is able to charge your device in a short time if it supports fast charging.

To provide a stable and powerful vaping experience, the GeekVape Obelisk 120 FC Kit uses plenty of protective features that you can expect from other mods, like low resistance protection, low voltage protection, circuit short protection, triple over-voltage protection, low-temperature protection, charge overcurrent protection, overheat protection and discharge overcurrent protection.

Geekvape Zeus Sub-ohm Tank

The Geek Vape Obelisk 120 FC Z Kit comes with the popular Zeus Subohm Tank, which boasts a diameter base of 26mm. It is a pretty sturdy tank thanks to its strong 304 stainless steel construction. It is capable of holding a maximum e-liquid capacity of 5ml. The Zeus Sub-ohm tank uses a leak-proof design and top airflow system to provide an enjoyable vaping experience. It comes with an upgraded filling port, which can easily accommodate a chubby gorilla bottle.

 There two new MeshZ replacement coils included in the kit, a 0.2ohm Z2 mesh coil rated for 70 - 80W and a 0.4ohm Z1 mesh coil rated for 50 - 60W. Throughout my time testing, both coils wick quickly and I never experienced dry hits when used as chain vaping. I can get superb flavours and pleasant cloud from these two coils. I’m impressed with the performance of the Z2 coil as its slight increase in flavour.

Overall, Geek Vape really nailed it with the Obelisk 120 FC Z Kit. Its world’s first vape with safe fast charging is groundbreaking. It comes with excellent performance in a well-built package. Geek Vape Zeus is a great tank and works well with two coils. I really enjoy its decent flavour and great cloud. If you are in the market for a well-built device with plentiful functions, the Obelisk 120 FC Z Kit should be at the top of your list for sure.
