I was about to introduce the all-new PAL 3 pod kit as the latest instalment of the PAL line. Powered a 1000mah built-in battery, the Artery PAL 3 features an adjustable wattage of 2 - 25W. Constructed of zinc alloy, stainless steel and PCTG, it comes in a smaller size than PAL 2. It features an ergonomic mouthpiece design and upgraded HP cores to provide a better vaping experience. It also boasts a tuned airflow system for RDL/ MTL vaping.

Build Quality and Design
The Pal 3 is a compact and well-built pod kit. It delivers a really good impression on the hand thanks to its smoothed off edges. In the previous versions, you need to remove the panel to check the e-liquid level. The new Pal 3 adds convenience without the removable panel. It comes with a very modern and elegant look with plentiful colour options. It comes with a zinc alloy and stainless steel construction that feels a little weighty. It features a pearl finish, which is fingerprint resistant and provides a comfortable hand-feel. There is also a gold control panel that is a big fingerprint magnet.
The screen on the Pal 3 is very tiny but bright and easy to read. It clearly displays all the vaping info you will need, such as the wattage, voltage, coil resistance, battery level. The branding is subtle and well-positioned. There is a fire button and a wattage adjustment button. Both of them are very nice to click. You can press the fire button 5 times to turn the device on/ off and press the fire button 3 times to lock/ unlock the wattage adjustment. On the backside of the device, there is a well placed USB-C port, which comes with only a 1amp charging rate. It takes about one hour to fully charge the 1000mAh battery from low.
The Artery Pal 3 is paired with a 3ml pod (2ml TPD version). It comes with better quality and design than the previous version. The coil features a press-fit mechanism but you need to screw your coil into it before fitting. The pod adopts a bottom-fill port with a silicone bung. The fill port is large and wide enough to accept shortfill and 10ml bottles, mess-free and well implemented. The air inlet is well placed down the side. The pod sits magnetically and firmly with no wobble. It is also very easy to pull out when needed.
There are two coils included in the kit, a pre-installed HP 0.7Q mesh core and an HP 1.2Q mesh core. The new HP cores feature larger wicking ports that offer a more saturated and intense vape. I go first with the 1.2ohm coil at 9 watts. The flavour didn’t go well as the airflow was too loose. And then I set the wattage up to 11 watts with fully closed airflow. It delivers a nice MTL draw with better flavour. It performs the best at 10 watts, a nice balance vaping. The 0.7ohm coil is designed for RDL vaping but also perform well for MTL vaping. I tested this coil with a 5mg nic salt juice. It works so well at 16 watts, delivering a more intense and satisfying flavour.
Pros and Cons
- Elegant design
- Visible pod
- Max wattage lock
- Lovely colour options
- Adjustable airflow
- Upgrade HP Coil
- MTL airflow control is no good as expected
So who is the Artery PAL 3 kit for? For the most part, it is a kit that aims to please those who is looking for a compact and elegant kit with both MTL & DTL vaping. The Artery PAL 3 does everything it promises in an affordable and well-built package. Both coils are work well to provide comfortable vaping.
