Design and Build Quality

Uwell Whirl S is an upgraded version of its redecessor Whirl AIO kit. It comes with a sleek and ergonomic design. The body of the Uwell whirl S is made entirely out of stainless steel that is relatively comfortable to hold. I love its portable size and lightweight. It didn’t feel slightly cheap at all. It features no fancy design lines or exciting curves. On the front side of the device, there is a minimal “Whirl S” that printed with great quality paint. The logo is no scratched and scuffed after using a few weeks and the device still looks good as new. Above the branding, there is a small LED indicator integrated with the fire button.

The Uwell Whirl S is very easy to use as there are no other controls and no settings are required. You can quickly press the fire button 5 times to turn the device on or off. It supports both button activated and draw-activated firing mechanism to offer flexible vaping. The fire button on the Manik S is rectangular that feels very good and takes a firm push to activate.

The Uwell Whirl S is compatible with a 2mL tank. The pod attached magnetically to the battery and sits firmly without any wiggling or movement. It can be easily disassembled and cleaned with running water. Be careful to remove the coil before cleaning the tank. The drip tip is very comfortable to use. The tank also features an e-liquid level window, allowing you to check the juice level easily. It features a convenient top-fill design to offer a faster and easier vaping experience. You can unscrew the top cap to refill your favourite e-juice. I’ve refilled a few times and experienced zero leaking.

The Uwell Whirl S comes with the 0.8ohm UN2 meshed-H coil, which does a good job to provide decent flavour. I tested this coil by using the 20mg Nic Salt and a 3mg mix of Freebase e-juice. The Whirl S features the Pro-FOCS flavour technology to deliver a satisfying and saturated flavour.

The 0.8ohm mesh coil heats evenly and fully atomize the juice. I was very impressed by the flavour production for such a small kit. The coil can last around 10 days and provide an enjoyable flavour throughout its lifetime.

The Uwell Whirl S is supported by a 1450mAh internal battery. It uses fast type-c charging and can last about 3 to 4 days with a full charge. The overall performance is quite good.
