Design and Build Quality
The slim and tall shape of the Uwell Yearn Neat 2 reminds me of the small disposable and vape pen. It’s 102.5mm tall, 11.5mm wide, and 22.1mm deep and weighs 27.9g. It’s a decent size that makes it perfectly slip into your jeans pocket. The rounded shape provides a comfortable and smooth hand feel. The body is made of PC and PCTG material that doesn’t feel cheap at all.
The Uwell Yearn Neat 2 comes with a very simple design. Branding is kept to a minimum with only a “Neat” on the front of the device. The ergonomic design fits your hand perfectly. Uwell has managed to keep it simple without making it look too plain. You can vape by its convenient draw-activated firing mechanism, which works pretty well.
On the top of the device, the pod clicks into well with the body and fits snugly in this spot. There is no movement when the pod is inserted thanks to the powerful magnet between the device and the pod. The pod is capable of holding 2ml vape juice. It adopts a convenient side fill design through a fill port. The port is wide enough so that I have no trouble refilling with my favourite vape juice. The filler plug does a good job to prevent any leaking from the fill hole.
Overall, the build quality of the Uwell Yearn Neat 2 is quite good. It comes very lightweight but still feels very solid in the hands. The design of the Uwell Yearn Neat 2 is not that special and stand out, but looks quite neat.
There is only one coil included in the kit, the 0.9ohm mesh coil. It uses the Pro-FOCS flavour testing technology to provide the ultimate vaping experience by properly controlling the heating temperature, strictly managing the material quality, and completely restoring the e-juice flavour. The taste from the 0.9ohm mesh coil is very qualified. It provides a rich vapour and quite satisfactory taste. It also delivers a comfortable draw thanks to its airflow sensor.
The Uwell Yearn Neat 2 has a 520mAh battery, which can not last days and days of usage out of a single charge. It can be charged through a fast type-c charging port on the bottom of the device. It takes only one hour to fully charge from dead. The LED indicator will light up to indicate the battery charge level as follows.
- Green: 60 -100%,
- Blue: 30 - 60%
- Red: < 30%
