Build Quality and Design

The Lost Vape BTB is a compact mod and comes with a suitable size for a single battery mod. It measures 91mm tall, 36mm wide and 25mm thick. It features a durable zinc alloy that feels solid in the hand.

The BTB kit boasts impressive side panels, which looks pretty cool and trendy. It has a slight rubber feel in the hands. The branding “Lost Vape” and “BTB” are separately printed into the panels on one side of the body. It is available in seven colour options that you can choose from SS Vintage Camo, Black Vintage Camo, Red Camo, Blue Camo, Black Camo, Green Camo and Matt Black Vintage Stars.

There are four buttons on the BTB. The fire button is positioned at the top of the side and comes in a nice size. Two adjustment buttons and a mode button are placed in the bottom corner. All buttons are made of plastic and easy to press. Below the fire button, there is a 0.96inch full-colour display screen, which is bright and clear and displays the key vaping information, such as coil resistance, puff time, battery life indicator, puff counter and wattage. The screen offers six colour options. You can press and hold the select button for two seconds to change the colour theme. Overall, the Lost Vape BTB is a well-designed starter kit.

Functions and Features

Powered by a single high-amp 18650 battery, the BTB has a maximum output of 100W. The Lost Vape BTB uses a type-c charging and doesn’t support pass thru vaping. In my test, the battery can last about sixty hours when using at 8w and around 9 hours at 60w.

On the top, there is a slightly raised 510 plate, which measures 20.5mm in diameter. It can’t hold large atomizers as the base of the mod is only 24mm wide. The BTB uses a side panel battery door, which is a little bit difficult to remove. The magnets hold the panel firmly as there are two small magnets on the top and one longer magnet at the bottom. It supports several working modes to meet different vaping needs, including the power mode, voltage mode, and TC modes for Nickel, Titanium, and SS316.

Ultra Boost X Sub-Ohm Tank

The Ultra Boost X Tank is made of superior 304 stainless steel and features Pyrex glass reinforcement. It comes 24mm in diameter and can hold up to 4mL vape juice. The colours of the tank match well and look good with the kit.

The UBX tank adopts a convenient top-fill design. You will see a large fill port by pushing back the top cap, which is very easy to open. The airflow allows you to select MTL or DL vaping. If you are looking for an MTL vape, you can set the airflow to small holes. If you prefer a DL draw, it is recommended to set the airflow to the slot.

The BTB kit comes with two coils, a 0.2ohm DL coil rated for 4-60W and a 1.0ohm MTL coil rated for 8-15W. I first tested the 0.3 coils at 40w, the flavour is average. It gets better at 50w and performs the best at 55w. It is a great DL vape, delivering great flavour and clouds. I started off the 1.0ohm coil at 8w, which produces non-noticeable flavour and vapour. When it gets to the higher wattage of 15w, it produces a tight MTL draw and decent flavour with two airflow holes open.
