Uwell has earned its name in vaping industry for the successful release of pod kits, such as Caliburn and the Koko. Build Quality and Design
- Charging Case
The charging case of the Marsupod features an internal 1000mAh battery and uses micro USB charging. On the top it has four embedded LEDs, indicating the remaining battery level and charging. The charging case comes with a rectangular shape and is constructed by a combination of plastic, including POM, ABS and polycarbonate. It feels very lightweight in the hands but doesn’t feel cheap at all.
- Uwell Marsupod Pod
This tiny device is compact, lightweight and very easy to use. It features no button operation and uses draw-mechanism. The only thing you need to do is put the vape to your lips and then take a pull. On either side, there is a little LED light that shines when it’s firing. It is integrated with a small 150mAh battery and is capable of holding 1.3ml of e-liquid.
The pod is made from PCTG that is resilient against aggressive e-liquids. It uses the Pro-FOCS technology to improve flavour production. To fill the Uwell Marsupod Pod, you need to access the fill port by lifting up the rubber flap on one side and then fill it with your beloved vape juice. Let it stand for 5-10 minutes to fully saturate the coil.
The Marsupod has no adjustable airflow, it delivers a loose MTL draw and a quite restricted DTL draw. You can get pretty minimal cloud production with nice puffs of steam from this tiny device. It is definitely a lovely little stealth vape.
I tested it with my favourite Riot Salts Pink Grenade nic salt juice. It delivers a very pure flavour, a very cool vape. I also use it with some 20mg salts for two weeks. It still going strong after several refills. But the longevity largely depends on different vaping style.
As for the battery performance, it can last about 90 minutes of moderate vaping, which is pretty good for such a tiny little battery. The device will start charging when the drained device is returned to the charging case. The charging indicator will switch off after 45 minutes of charging. The charging case can support five full charges of the device. It takes about 90 minutes to fully charge the charging case from empty.
