Build Quality and Design
The Lost Vape UB Lite is a very pocketable pod kit, standing approximately 115mm by 20.6mm by 19.8mm. It weighs very little at around 47.5 grams. The body of the UB Lite is made of durable aluminium, which feels comfortable in the hands. The logo “UB LITE” is embossed at the bottom of the front side. It is available in seven colours, among which the midnight colour is my beloved one.
On the front side of the device, there is a round-shape fire button, which is very clicky and responsive. Above the fire button, there is a small LED indicator that shines in different colours to show varying battery level and coil resistance.
Functions and Features
The Lost Vape UB Lite is very easy to use vape that suitable for beginners. It supports both button activated and draw-activated, which is how I prefer to use it. The UB Lite also adopts multiple protections to deliver a comfortable vaping experience, such as short circuit protection, over-heat protection, weak battery protection and 10-seconds over-time protection.
The UB Lite features a smart coil detection that can automatically detect the coil resistance and set the best power output. The LED indicator will show in different colours depending on the coil installed.
- Red: 0.4ohm
- Blue: 0.8ohm
- Green: 1.4ohm
Pod and Coil
The UB Lite pod cartridge can hold up 2ml vape juice and utilizes a side filling design. It comes with two coil options, a UB Lite L1 0.4ohm coil rated for 20 -30w and a UB Lite L5 1.4ohm coil rated for 8 - 10w, offering an enjoyable MTL and DL vaping experience. It also adopts an airflow ring, allowing you to find your vaping style.
I started off with the 0.4ohm coil with a 50/50 vape juice. The flavour has turned out to be fairly tasting. The vapour was a little bit warm and comfortable. It hits quickly and silently and I have no complaints about such a great DL coil. And then I tested the 1.4ohm coil with the same juice. The flavour from this coil was good as well, without dry hits or performance issues. It has delivered a nice draw with decent clouds. Great MTL coil!
Battery and Charging
The Lost Vape UB Lite runs on a built-in 1000 mAh battery, which is a powerful backup for a full day of vaping. The battery life largely depends on different vaping habits and the coil used. This kit performs so well. I was able to get through about two refills before the battery needs to be charged. You can charge the device via a built-in DC 5V type-c charging port, which is located on the bottom. It has a tiny LED indicator to show battery level with different colours as follows:
- Red: less than 3.7V
- Blue: between 3.7V - 3.9V
- Green: above 3.9V
