Build Quality and Design
Right out of the box the OBS Skype comes with a rectangular shape that feels pretty good in the hands. It features a decent lightweight of 105g and stands approximately 106mm by 20.1mm by 30.1mm. The mainframe is constructed of durable zinc alloy. There is a fair bit of branding “OBS” on this device.
OBS Skype has a 0.96-inch display screen, which shows all the vaping information you would need: coil resistance, wattage, a puff counter and volts. The OBS logo features a dark blue to light blue gradient when the device is turn on/off. Above the screen, there is a round-shaped fire button. The adjustment buttons are located below the screen. All buttons are responsive and have a pretty tactile click with no rattle.
OBS Skye Button Combinations
Turn On/ Off: 5 clicks of the fire button
Lock Adjustment buttons: press the UP or DOWN button for 3 times
Change Power: unlock the device and then press the UP or DOWN button

OBS Skye Pod
The OBS Skye Pod is connected firmly with the device as there are 4 magnets with one in each corner of the device. The air comes in via the inlets on either side of the device. The pod is paired with a built-in long and flat mouthpiece that is very comfortable to use. The sides of the pod are clear, allowing you to check the vape juice level easily.
The kit comes with two coil options, an OM SK 1.0ohm regular coil and an OM YE 0.4ohm mesh coil. To change the coil, you need to remove the pod from the mod, hold the pod upside-down, pull to remove the coil, insert a new coil, fill the pod with your beloved e-liquid and then leave for 4 - 5 minutes.

Performance
I tested the 0.4ohm mesh coil with a billiards 70VG/30PG vape juice. This coil is recommended to use between 30 - 40w. It delivers a nice DTL draw with a small could but not massive flavour. When it goes up to 35w, I can get an impressive DTL flavour and prominent vapour production. 40w is the maximum recommended wattage. It provides amazing flavour and generous cloud. Personally speaking, I think it performs the best at 35w.
I’m using the OM SK 1.0ohm regular coil with the billiards soda range vape juice (70VG/30PG). It is recommended to use between 10w - 20w. When it is down low to 10w, you can get a smooth vapour production and a super prominent flavour. When it goes up to the max recommended 20W, the flavour has been a little bit heavy. I enjoyed its performance at 15w, it is an impressive MTL flavour and decent vapour production for such a compact kit.

Battery and Charging
The OBS Skye uses a type-c charging that comes with a decent charging rate. The charging port is located on the bottom of the device. In my test, it takes about 50 minutes to fully charge the device.
