Vandy Vape Mesh V2 RDA Review: Best RDA for Mesh Lovers

The latest Mesh V2 is the improved version of the original Mesh RDA from the popular manufacturer of Vandy Vape. The Vandy Vape Mesh V2 RDA has a honeycomb airflow design that gets angled towards the mesh. It works with mesh coils for DL vaping. The diameter of the Mesh V2 RDA has been increased to 25mm for a wider mesh strip. The widened clamps and distance increase the surface area for more flavor and vapor. The strong spring-loaded ceramic support at the center ensures effective contact between the Mesh Coil and the cotton to avoid the nasty dry hit. The Vandy Vape Mesh V2 also features a postless clamp deck, deeper e-juice well that can hold more juice without leaking. It also comes with a BF pin for squonk mods, and a very nice pre-installed 810 drip tip for comfortable use. The Vandy Vape Mesh V2 RDA is well-built, and the build quality really meets what I have expected. On the top of the sleeve, you can see the engraved "M" formed by geometric shapes that were present on the original Vandy Vape Mesh RDA. On the chamber, you can see the dual honeycomb style airflow holes comprising of 2 rows of 10 holes on each side. There are 40 airflow holes in total. The airflow is smooth due to the honeycomb pattern.

The Vandy Vape Mesh V2 RDA comes with a pre-installed friction-fit resin 810 tip, which is very comfortable to use. You can also use any other 810 drip tip on the Vandy Vape Mesh V2 atomizer without any problems. 2 O-rings hold the chamber on the base. The slots ai the bottom allows you to spin the chamber to align airflow holes with the coil. The two clamps lock the mesh coil and the spring-loaded ceramic support pushes the cotton up. The juice well is deep and can hold 2ml of your desired e-liquid.

The package also comes with a 510 tip adapter, plenty of spare O-rings, two spare post screws, a hard positive pin, and a squonk pin, a screwdriver an Allen wrench, two pieces of cotton, and a metal bar for shaping your mesh coil. The best part of it is you will get 4 mesh coils in different types. So you can find what works best for you easily.

The design of the build Mesh V2 RDA deck is really simple, which is very similar to the original Mesh RDA. It is easy to build on, even for a beginner. The build deck is postless, making it easy to insert the precut mesh strip and tighten up it. Each side features a vertical sitting clamp for the end of your mesh to slide into. The grub screws are Phillips heads, easy to loosen. You can use the tool in the box to bend the mesh to the perfect shape before fitting.

Wicking is pretty easy. The mesh strip will need plenty of cottons. Before wicking, pulse the mesh at 15W to eliminate any hot spots and burn off any residue from manufacturing. If you use the organic pads, it uses a full pad to fill the coil appropriately. The Vandy Vape Mesh V2 RDA comes with 2 shoelace cotton pieces, which are 6mm in diameter. You should make sure that your cotton fits well and snug due to the ceramic spring is not strong enough to push up the cotton. Then you should trim, comb the wicks, give your cotton ends a bit of fluff up and drop the cotton down into the channels.

The airflow on the Vandy Vape Mesh V2 RDA is excellent. It features a side airflow but the holes are very high which are even similar to the top airflow of the Dead Rabbit RDA. The honeycomb airflow is smooth and you can adjust the airflow easily by turning the ribbed small top cap. There are 20 airflow holes on each side of the chamber. You can spin the chamber to align the airflow holes with the coil.

The top cap locks properly with two tabs on the inside, so you can easily screw or unscrew the Mesh V2 RDA from a mod. The two tabs moving on the slot. You can fine-tune the airflow even when the coil is closed down. With fully opened, the Vandy Vape Mesh V2 RDA offers you the solid direct to lung vape without restrictions or super airy. The Vandy Vape Mesh V2 RDA is not designed for a restricted vape. It works best with wide open. The airflow is nor super smooth or turbulent. It is in between.

The Vandy Vape Mesh V2 RDA is a solid RDA that will satisfy the most mesh lovers. Building and wicking are really simple even for a beginner. You can use the Mesh V2 RDA with a regular mod by dripping through the drip tip, or a squonk mod with a BF pin (included in the box). There isn’t much juice well since you need to use lots of pieces of cotton. Dripping on Mesh V2 RDA will be inconvenient. You have to drip after a few puffs. When using with a squonk mod, the Mesh V2 can offer great over-squonk protection and excellent performance. The dual mesh coil works excellent with flavorful and dense vapor.

The Vandy Vape Mesh V2 RDA is a little more muting and less intense compared to the Wotofo Profile. It’s a little bit worse performance but doesn’t make it bad. And if you prefer a mesh RDA, the best flavor will not be your priority. So the Vandy Vape Mesh V2 RDA is a well-built and good atomizer.
