Wotofo is recognizable vaping manufacture, who recently released a new pod kit, the Wotofo SMRT. Powered by an integrated 2000mAh battery, the Wotofo SMRT features an output range between 5 - 80W. It is compatible with the PnP Coils or GTX coils to deliver delicious vapour. Today I’ll be doing a review of the Wotofo SMRT Pod Kit. How does this work exactly? Let’s check out the Wotofo SMRT in detail a bit prior to the review.

Build Quality and Design
The Wotofo SMRT is a pretty compact pod system, standing at 117.3mm by 29.2mm by 23mm. It is made of aluminium alloy that feels sturdy in the hand and less likely to sustain terminal damage. It is very comfortable to hold and the lightweight keeps it portable. On one side of the device, there is a large branding “MANIK”, which is scratched and scuffed a little bit after using it for a few days.
The pod is connected firmly with the 3 magnets on the top. It also has a built-in and non-removable drip tip that is very comfortable to use. On top of the device, there are 14 airflow holes, which arranged in 2 rows. But you cannot control the airflow on the Wotofo SMRT.
The Wotofo SMRT has an 0.96inch TFT display screen, displaying a puff counter, coil resistance, a puff timer, battery level with percentage, wattage and volts. But I found it is a little bit dim under the sunlight. There a large fire button above the screen and two adjustment buttons under the screen. All buttons are completely flat and take a firm push to activate.
Wotofo SMRT Button Combinations:
Turn On/ Off: 5 clicks of the fire button
Lock Buttons: 3 clicks of the fire button
Reset Puff Counter: Fire button and down
Lock Wattage (Will Still Fire): press both up and down buttons
Change the Displays Color Scheme: press the Fire button and Up button
Powered by the nexCHIP chipset, the Wotofo Manik S delivers an instant firing speed and boasts a maximum output of up to 80w. It supports only one working mode, the wattage mode. It is compatible with the Wotofo’s D series coils, Vaporesso GTX and Voopoo PnP coils, providing more coil options to meet different preferences. You can install the pod by pushing it into the bottom of the pod.
The SMRT Pod features a 4.5ml juice capacity and adopts a convenient side fill design. The pod sits firmly and attached magnetically to the battery without any wiggling or movement. There are two coils included in the kit: a pre-built D15 Clapton mesh coil rated for 45-55W and SMRT PnP Rebuildable Coil.
As to a rebuildable coil, the kit includes everything you need to make six mesh coils. I tested the prebuilt Clapton coil with the 70VG regular nicotine e-juice. I got a satisfying cool vape and a decent flavour from this coil. It performs the best at 55 Watts. The cloud is definitely amazing for such an internal-battery device. The coil works so well with the juice and I had no experienced off-taste or burnt taste from it. The coil still goes strong after using it for about 2 weeks.
Battery and Charging
The Wotofo SMRT runs on an integrated 2000mAh rechargeable battery. You can charge the device via a fast type-c charging. The battery life is not as good as I expected. All the coils included needing a high wattage of above 40w, which means that 200mAh capacity is relatively small. When vaping at 40 - 50W, the battery can last over a day of heavy usage. You can get a battery life by using the GTX or PnP coils with higher resistance.
